IT WORKS!! IT WORKS!! I have a SUBSCRIBE button on my blog!
 
"Big deal," you say? You don't understand just how much of a neanderthal I am when it comes to technology!
 
Here's what happened. Because of my 30 buddies that were willing to follow my blog, I decided to follow myself to see what they see. Know what they saw? Nothing! No updates on new blogs, NOTHING! What's the point of following someone then?
 
So I did some reading and found out what "Following" did vs. "Subscribing." But then I was devastated to learn that to give people email notifications of new blogs, I had to buy my own domain, get a private email linked to that domain, start an account with a provider to send the emails, come up with a subscription form...
 
Did I mention I'm a neanderthal when it comes to technology? I'm not going to tell you how long it took me to figure all that out; it's embarrassing. What you need to know now is, "IT WORKS! IT WORKS! I have a subscribe button!"
 
So this is what you do. Particularly my 30 buddies that thought you did this already. Push the subscribe button on my blog. It will take you to a form where you give me your email address. Your address will only be for me. It will go on a list so that when I write a new blog, you'll get an email notification. The email isn't long. It just gives the new title of the new article, along with titles of other articles that have been the most popular. This way you won't miss any new posts on this quest we're on to uncover 365 biblical treasures that will lead us all the way from Genesis (Bible's first book) through Revelation (Bible's last book).
 
Why Subscribe you say? So that if I do something like skip a week because of Youth Camp, VBS, or vacation, you're not checking periodically to see if I wrote anything only to give up on me because it looks like I never post anything anymore!
 
Those of you who aren't one of my 30 buddies who already followed me, if you truly want to go to Heaven, you really need to...
 
Too strong? Okay, subscribing won't get you to Heaven. But it will tell you when a new blog is available, and it will give me warm fuzzies inside that you love me. 
 
By the way, I did notice that the notification automatically went into Promotions in my gmail and not my inbox. Don't know what to do about that. Would you need to mark it somehow to get it into your inbox? Did I mention I'm a neanderthal when it comes to technology?

      Ha! Believe me, I understand! Just click the blue Subscribe button on the left panel. It will take you to a screen where you type in your email. That's it!

The True Measure of a Woman (Genesis 2:21-24)

  And the Lord God caused a deep sleep to fall on Adam, and he slept; and He took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh in its place.
